asked the Minister of Transport whether he will authorise expenditure on a major improvement scheme on the section of the A53 between Blackbrook and Coneygreave, Staffordshire.

The A53 is a principal road for which the Staffordshire County Council is the highway authority. No proposal for improvements between Blackbrook and Coneygreave has been received from the council.
