§ 37. Mr. Ridsdaleasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what action she proposes to take to relieve the unemployment in those areas of the South-East Region where unemployment is above 5 per cent.
§ Mr. DellMy local officers will continue to do all they can to help the worker who are unemployed to find new jobs and will offer training opportunities where appropriate. Applications for industrial development certificates for expansions in the areas referred to by the 375W hon. Member are considered sympathetically by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Technology.
