asked the Minister of Transport how many times and at what cost have repairs taken place on the A5 trunk road in the vicinity of the Two Gates traffic signal actuation pads in the Borough of Tamworth during the past two years.

Since October, 1968 special repair work has been undertaken three times and routine maintenance has been done at other times. All this work is part of the county's maintenance responsibility and it is not possible to separate the costs.
