90. Mr. Brian Harrisonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what are the administrative arrangements for ensuring greater collaboration between manufacturers of agricultural chemicals, farmers and ecologists and conservationists.
§ Mr. HoyThe main arrangements are the Pesticides and Veterinary Products Safety Precautions Schemes. The Department also encourages informal collaboration between these interests. All of them were represented at the Conference on "Agriculture and Environment" which we organised in January in connection with the European Conservation Year and which is being followed up at local level.
