asked the Minister of Transport whether he will review the allocation to the Derbyshire County Council of funds for minor works.

We are satisfied that Derbyshire County Council receives a fair share of the funds which we allocate for minor improvement works on principal roads. Funds for highways expenditure on non-principal roads and for maintenance work on principal roads are made available through the rate support grant.
