§ Mr. Higginsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will tabulate the current United Kingdom prices of the different types of cheese specified in Table 7 of Command Paper No. 4289 on Great Britain and the European Community alongside other European country prices as a basis for comparison, from information available to him from international sources.
§ Mr. HoyContinental varieties of cheese of the kind quoted in table 7 of the White Paper comprise a very small proportion of total United Kingdom cheese purchases and retail prices representative of the country as a whole are not available. However, a number of commercial quotations suggest that prices in the United Kingdom are broadly the same as those given in the White Paper.
