Captain Kerby

asked the Minister of Technology what special financial and other arrangements and agreements have been reached between Her Majesty's Government and the Royal Swedish Government in respect of the latter Government's paid deposit and orders for a number of Beagle Bulldog aircraft.

asked the Minister of Technology what is the present whereabouts of the sole existing Beagle Bulldog aircraft; and whether this prototype has flown.

Mr. Carmichael

The prototype Beagle Bulldog aircraft is currently undergoing flying trials with the Swedish Air Force.

Captain Kerby

asked the Minister of Technology why, in view of the bankruptcy of the wholly-owned Beagle Aircraft 1968 Limited, it is now proposed to transfer the manufacture of the sole relict of that company, the Beagle Bulldog Aircraft, to another company, Short Brothers and Harland, in which Her Majesty's Government have a majority holding.
