asked the Minister of Transport what plans are at present under consideration to improve the A11 road where it passes through Epping urban district.

As my hon. Friend is aware, the main proposal is to improve the junction of A11 with A122. Following a number of objections, a new layout has been designed, and revised draft proposals are now being prepared. Further south a number of small traffic management measures are planned.
