§ 105. Mr. Chapmanasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will carry out the undertaking given to the House on 28th February, 1968, that the ceiling of 1,500 vouchers for Asians wishing to come from Kenya would be taken as a flexible figure; and to what extent he is now prepared to raise it in present circumstances.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesThe undertaking was to keep the level of the special voucher allocation under review and to relate it to the needs of the situation. This the Government will continue to do.
