asked the Minister of Technology if he will make a statement on British participation in the European Research and Development Organisation.

Dr. Ernest A. Davies

The suggestion for such an organisation was put forward and discussed in June and January last by a group of private Members, British industrialists and European Parliamentaries. I am aware of these discussions but the Ministry of Technology has not been involved.
