§ Dr. Summerskillasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether new arrangements for the preparation and publication of the British Pharmacopoeia have yet been made under the provisions of the Medicines Act.
§ Mr. CrossmanThe copyright in the British Pharmacopoeia is to be assigned to the Crown by the General Medical Council with effect from 1 March 1970. On that date the continuation of the revision of the 1968 Edition of the British Pharmacopoeia and the preparation of the 1973 Edition will become the responsibility of a new Committee appointed under Section 4 of the Medicines Act, 1968. This Committee, like its predecessor appointed by the General Medical Council, will be known as the British Pharmacopoeia Commission. On the recommendation of the Medicines Commission the following persons have been invited, and have agreed, to serve on the new Commission:
