asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity how many disabled or partially disabled people in Hartlepool are receiving training of any kind out of public funds; and how many trained people and organisations are involved.

Four Hartlepool people who are disabled within the meaning of the

under 18 years of age, registering at each employment exchange in Lanarkshire, the percentage of the insurable population these numbers represent and the total insurable population.

Following is the information:

Disabled Persons (Employment) Act are at present under training for employment with financial support from my Department. The training is being provided by four organisations — the Hartlepool College of Art, the Billingham Government Training Centre, the Hartlepool Workshop for the Blind, and a private comptometer firm.
