§ 23. Mr. Willeyasked the Minister of Overseas Development what progress is being made in increasing the amount of United Kingdom aid to undeveloped countries provided through international agencies.
§ Mrs. HartI am giving a good deal of priority to the provision of aid through multilateral agencies. Disbursements of multilateral aid constituted approximately 9 per cent. of the normal aid programme in 1968 and are expected to have increased to some 16 per cent. in 1969. A further increase may well be possible.
