§ 60. Mr. Milneasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware of the doubt whether the Trade Descriptions Act applies to claims made in regard to various oral contraceptives; and whether he will initiate a study of the matter with a view to introducing clarifying legislation.
§ Mrs. Gwyneth DunwoodyI am unaware of any such doubt, but I think that the matter is one to which other legislation may be more appropriate.
