HC Deb 18 February 1970 vol 796 cc124-5W
Mr. Edward M. Taylor

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the total number of children in Scotland receiving part-time education for the most recent week for which figures are available; and what were the comparable figures in the same week last year, five years ago and 10 years ago, respectively.

Mr. Ross

I would refer the hon. Gentleman to the answer I gave to the hon. Member for Perth and East Perthshire (Mr. MacArthur) on 22nd January. In March, 1965, 4,862 pupils were on part-time education.—[Vol. 794, c.190–1.]
