§ Mr. Arnold Shawasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many policemen were employed, what was the cost and by whom was the latter defrayed, in connection with a private meeting at the Library Hall, Barkingside, Ilford, on Tuesday, 13th January.
§ Mr. Elystan MorganThe Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis informs me that there being reason to expect disorder in the vicinity of the meeting 104 members of the force were deployed in the area. As they would have been on police duty in any case, the Metropolitan Police Fund incurred no additional expense.
