asked the Secretary of State for Wales when he expects work to start on the Eastern Avenue Scheme, Cardiff.

The contract for the construction of this new length of trunk road between Gabalfa and St. Mellons to complete the Cardiff Inner By-Pass has been awarded to Gleeson Civil Engineering Ltd. Work is expected to start early in March.
