§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if she will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the number of wholly unemployed men and women registered at the Hull Employment Exchange, both as an absolute figure and as a percentage of the working population, showing the age distribution, the period of time unemployed and the relationship between the two, respectively.
§ Mr. DellAt 12th January, 1970, 5,875 men and 467 women were registered as wholly unemployed at the Hull Employment Exchange. Percentage rates of unemployment can be given only for the whole of the Hull, Beverley and Hessle travel-to-work area. They are available for males, and for females, but not separately for men and women. At 12th January, 1970, the rates were: males 5.8, females 1.0.
