Mr. Hobden

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what is the latest number and value of rebates granted to Brighton ratepayers under the Rating Act, 1966; and how this compares with the rate relief granted under the Rating (Interim Relief) Act, 1964.

The latest rate rebate figures available relate to the period October, 1968, to March, 1969, when 4,444 rebates were afforded totalling £53,582.
