HC Deb 16 February 1970 vol 796 c4W
Mr. Patrick Jenkin

asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications whether he will take further steps to ensure that those posting letters to the United Kingdom from overseas member countries of the Universal Postal Union are aware that, if they pay a special express fee, express delivery in the United Kingdom is only made if the office of delivery is open for telegraph business, and that items arriving outside these hours are delivered by normal post.

Mr. Stonehouse

This is a matter for the Post Office.
