Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will take action to ensure that members of the public and Members of Parliament are not kept waiting for 10 to 12 weeks for replies to their correspondence, particularly when the information is readily available within a few days of the receipt of the original communication.
