asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will now publish the Special Aircraft Noise Survey on Heathrow; if, as a result of this survey, he will increase the area eligible for home soundproofing grants; and if he will include Richmond and Barnes in the area.

The data from this major sociological investigation is still being processed. We intend to publish the results, and consider their implications for the noise insulation grants scheme, at the earliest practicable date.
