Nurses at Crumpsall and Booth Hall Hospitals have been relieved of non-nursing duties to the fullest extent practicable At Springfield Hospital some non-nursing duties are still performed by nurses in the evening and at weekends; the hospital authority concerned are endeavouring to recruit domestic staff to provide cover for these periods.
