§ 66. Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he or one of the Ministers in his Department will seek to visit Kenya and Uganda to consult with the United Kingdom citizens of Asian origin as to the future of those who can no longer live and work in East Africa.
§ Mr. CallaghanMy hon. Friend the Joint Parliamentary Under-Secretary of 385W State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (Mr. Foley) recently visited both Kenya and Uganda and met representatives of the Asian community. I shall continue to keep the position under close review.
