§ 39. Mr. William Hamilton
asked the Lord President of the Council when he will publish the Government's proposals concerning the appointment of a Select Committee on Expenditure, in accordance with the recommendations of the Select Commitee on Procedure.

§ Mr. Peart
As the House is aware, the Government are at present reviewing the entire Select Commitee structure. This will take into account the important recommendations of the Procedure Committee. I hope to present the results of this review to the House in the spring.
