Mr. Ron Lewis

asked the Minister of Technology (1) if he will list, separately, the number of new jobs made available in the county borough of Carlisle in each of the years from 1963 to 1969;

(2) what industrial development certificates have been issued in the county borough of Carlisle in each of the years 1963 to 1969; and what additional employment it is estimated will result.

The estimated additional employment to be provided in new industrial building completed from 1963 to 1969 in the Carlisle Employment Exchange Area is given in the following table:
