§ Dr. Ernest DaviesAs indicated in the Authority's Annual Report for 1968–69, the Authority are carrying out a substantial programme of research on the production and performance of coated particle fuels to supplement the information obtained through United Kingdom participation in the Dragon Project. This complements the work now in hand in the Nuclear Design and Construction companies on design and engineering development of a commercial reactor. The negotiation of contracts incorporating guarantees of performance (both technical and financial) would be a matter for the parties directly concerned.
