asked the Minister of Transport what proposals he has to improve the lighting on the A5 trunk road in the borough of Tamworth.

A scheme of road lighting on the A5 trunk road in the borough of Tamworth has been programmed and is now in the design stage. The scheme extends through neighbouring authorities from west of A453 Mile Oak junction to the east of Wilnecote.
