HC Deb 09 February 1970 vol 795 cc248-9W
79. Mr. Montgomery

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is aware of the need for a new clinic at Wordsley in the county borough of Dudley; and if he will give a date when the necessary work can start.

Mr. Crossman

I agree that there is a need for new clinic premises at Wordsley and if agreement could be reached with at least three general medical practitioners so that a viable health centre could be established, I would be prepared to give loan sanction as soon as the scheme was ready for it.
