§ Mr. EnnalsI assume the hon. Member has in mind the more generous earnings rule for the dependent wives of retirement pensioners and invalidity pensioners which is proposed in paragraph 44 of the Explanatory Memorandum on the National Superannuation and Social Insurance Bill (Cmnd. 4222). The additional cost of this proposal is likely to be of the order of £10 million a year.
