asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity when she will announce results from the current review of the structure and work of the employment exchanges.

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what percentage of registrants at employment exchanges are in employment at the time of registration.

During the year ended 12th January, 1970, about 10 per cent. of adult registrants at employment exchanges were in employment at the time of registration. The proportion for the Professional and Executive Register is much higher.

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity how many managers of employment exchanges are university graduates.

Sixteen.

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity how many managers of employment exchanges have a salary of less than £1,500 per annum; and how many have a salary of more than £2,500.

Mr. Dell

131 have a salary of less than £1,500 per annum and 137 a salary of more than £2,500 per annum.
