HC Deb 05 February 1970 vol 795 c185W
90. Earl of Dalkeith

asked the Minister of Technology how many of the men employed at the Redpath Dorman Long steel plant in Edinburgh at the time of closure in May, 1969, are in receipt of compensation under the Iron and Steel (Compensation to Employees) Regulations, 1968.

Mr. Harold Lever

The B.S.C. which is responsible for determining claims informs me that in its view this closure does not come within the ambit of the regulations.
