HC Deb 05 February 1970 vol 795 cc178-9W
Mr. William Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what Government or Government-sponsored research has been done on the hazards of radiation arising from the use of colour television sets.

Mr. Fowler

The Radiological Protection Service is engaged in an extensive investigation on behalf of the Radioactive Substances Advisory Committee; but studies already completed indicate that radiation from colour television sets now available in this country is well below nationally and internationally recommended limits.
