§ Mr. SkeffingtonUnder the Housing Act, 1969, local housing authorities may obtain grants for tree planting in general improvement areas. A manual which is being prepared for local authorities on area improvement will include a section on tree planting. A new and enlarged version of the Department's booklet "Trees in Town and City" is also being prepared.
