asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the growing delay in clearing tax returns through the Inland Revenue, and of the increasing complexity of tax returns, he will now consider allowing expenses, incurred by employing professional accountants to expedite correct and early agreement on tax demands, to be charged against tax.
