§ Mr. TaverneThe ratio of personal saving to personal income before tax in the first three quarters of 1969 was 5.9 per cent. (seasonally adjusted); figures for the calendar year 1969 are not yet available. In the years 1963 to 1968 the corresponding percentages were 6.4, 6.8, 7.1, 7.0, 6.5 and 6.1.
