asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what schemes for reclamation of dereliction have been carried out in England during the years 1966 to 1969, inclusive; what acreage was involved; and at what cost.

I will, with permission, circulate a statement in the OFFICIAL REPORT which will I think be helpful to my hon. Friend.

Following is the information: The following table shows in respect of each of the years 1966–69 the total acreage reclaimed and the total number, acreage and cost of local authority schemes approved by the Minister of Housing and Local Government.

2. Information about the extent to which the local authority schemes approved by the Minister have been completed is not readily available.

3. Statistical information about the number and cost of non-grant aided schemes is not available.
