§ Mr. M. StewartWe are the largest contributor to the United Nations Educational and Training Programme, which provides money for the education of Africans who have left the countries of Southern Africa still under white minority or colonial rule. It covers Africans from Angola, Mozambique, South Africa, South West Africa and Rhodesia.
Since the present programme was consolidated, the United Kingdom has made two contributions, consisting of £41,667 in 1968–69 and £50,000 in 1969–70. In each of these years our contributions constituted over 1/5th of the total given.
