§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was for the latest and most convenient annual period of time the amount of money spent by the Government on motor tyres; and by how much the recently announced 9 per cent. to 12 per cent. increase in the price of tyres will increase the average amount spent on tyres by Her Majesty's Government.
