§ Mr. Ian Lloydasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will arrange for the Census Department to publish on a constituency basis the figures given in Table I of the Economic Activity Sub-Regional Tables for the South Eastern Region, Outer South East—Solent, in the 1966 Census.
§ Mr. AlisonI regret that the figures in this table are not available at constituency level. But they have been published for counties, county boroughs and urban areas of 50,000 or more population in a series of Economic Activity Leaflets for the 1966 Census and they are available though not published, for all local authority areas.
In addition the Parliamentary Constituency Tables of the 1966 Census, published in November, 1969, include some analyses of the population by economic activity, industry and socio-economic group, the latter being based on occupation.
