HC Deb 17 December 1970 vol 808 cc434-5W
Mr. Elystan Morgan

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many persons he has in the Welsh Office to advise him on transport functions, other than functions relating to trunk and principal roads.

Mr. Peter Thomas

A meaningful figure cannot be given because transport matters are liable to impinge on more than one field of my Department's work, and numbers involved vary according to the issue in question. The hon. Member may be assured that I have full advice available.
