Mr. Barry Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how much money was spent by local authorities and the government in the preservation of historic buildings and ancient monuments in Wales, in Flintshire and in East Flintshire, respectively, for the years 1962, 1966 and 1969; and if he will make a statement.

Expenditure by local authorities under the Local Authorities (Historic Build- ings) Act, 1962 on historic buildings in the areas specified was as follows:
