asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will request his Advisory Committee to examine and report to him the number of road traffic accidents which have resulted in the pedestrians suffering severe injuries; whether some form of statutory compensation should be paid as of right, according to the loss of faculty, or injuries sustained; and if he will make a statement.
