§ Mr. Gordon CampbellWork has begun on new penal establishments at Glenochil, near Alloa, and Cornton Vale, outside Stirling. Preliminary works are in hand to adapt accommodation at Dungavel, near Strathaven, and designs are being prepared for a large project at Shotts. It is also intended to build an additional institution on a site yet to be determined.
