§ Mr. Anthony StodartThe market price for cucumbers is determined by supply and demand, both of which may vary for seasonal and other reasons. Import quotas apply only to Eastern Area countries which send a very small proportion of total supplies. The arrangements for next year, which are a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary302W of State for Trade and Industry, have not yet been concluded.
