§ Mr. Eadieasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what recent communications he has received from the British Airports Authority regarding its future responsibility for Turnhouse Airport.
§ Mr. Anthony GrantNegotiations with the British Airports Authority on the transfer of Turnhouse were resumed in June. Officials of the Authority and the Department of Trade and Industry, in consultation with the Scottish Office, have been meeting frequently with almost daily contact in the last few weeks. The target date for a transfer is still 1st April 1971.
