§ Dr. Glynasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether, in view of the dangers to public health and the difficulties confronting statutory boards, such as hospitals, water, sewage and other essential undertakings, in the event of cuts in their electricity supplies without prior notice, he will give a general direction to electricity boards that priority of notice should be given to such undertakings in the event of power cuts.
§ Mr. RidleyThe electricity boards are already doing this where practicable, and 245W we have asked that they should do everything possible to improve their arrangements.
