§ Mr. van StraubenzeeThe value of Derbyshire's programme of primary school replacements in 1970–71, when most of the resources are being concen-166W trated in socially deprived areas, is £0.45 million. The corresponding figure for 1972–73, when resources are being more widely distributed, is £0.15 million. These figures represent 3.8 per cent. and 0.4 per cent. of the national allocation for improving old primary schools.
