§ Mr. James Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will provide sufficient funds to enable every area in Lanarkshire to have a primary school where one is applied for.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellThe resources already allocated to Lanarkshire Education Authority for primary and secondary school building to start up to March, 1973 should enable essential primary school places to be provided, although not all in permanent accommodation. The Authority may also apply for a share of the additional £4 million that is now available for primary school improvements starting in 1972–73.
