§ 67. Mr. Milneasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will issue a circular to local authorities endorsing the code of conduct to promote better relationships between the Press and local authorities issued by the Local Government Information Office and the Institute 121W of Journalists and endorsed by the Association of Municipal Corporations, a copy of which has been sent to him.
§ Mr. Graham PageI welcome the initiative of the bodies concerned in agreeing and sending to local authorities this most useful contribution to thinking and practice on the subject. However, it stands in its own right and does not need endorsement from me.
